“Do not go where the path may lead. Go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson
As trail enthusiasts that work 8-5’s in mountain towns (Park City is home base for most of us), we think it’s essential to have plenty of time to adventure (work hard + play harder).
Some of our favorite rides start at 6am, wind through wildflower-lined single-track and get us back in time to get to work by 8 am. That ride is followed by a 9 hour work day, glued in our desk chairs staring at a screen and then finishes with something epic; cliff jumping, mountain biking, hiking, you name it. When the weekend rolls around at 5pm on Friday, we are ready to camp nearby or take a micro-adventure to a nearby trail mecca for 48 hours of bliss.
Our mission is to share with you how it is possible to be happy and healthy while working an old-fashioned 8-5er. We also encourage people that enjoy the outdoors to preserve our natural space and protect our public lands.
Whether we are mountain biking, trail-running, hiking or taking our furry friends out for a nature walk, we are happiest when it is just us, our bike, our dog + the trail. Explore with us as we share some of our every-day adventures and the fuel that keeps us going.
Interested in working together? Are you an 8-5er that lives an adventurous life – we want you to write for us. Message us below or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
