Only 4 hours from Park City and you end up in a little place called Jackson Hole. But, when you are trying to avoid the crowds and get the closest as possible to some of the most epic trails in the area, you end up in Victor, ID.
We stayed at a amazing bed + breakfast called the Fin and Feather Inn in Victor, Idaho. This cute bed and breakfast is run and operated by a mountain biking enthusiast and the inn is beautiful and clean. The breakfast at the Fin and Feather will fuel you up for a long day of riding, running, hiking and more! Plus, you will be safe from the bears.
Some of the best mountain biking in the west is off of Teton Pass, that travels from Idaho to Wilson, WY. You can shuttle from the top of the pass and get a LOT of downhill riding in. Some of our favorite trails off the pass include, Jimmy’s Mom, Fuzzy Bunny, Phillip’s Ridge and Blacks Trail.
I also love the trails at Grand Targhee Resort. There are lift access trails, as well as single-track that will take you up to Mary’s Nipple, which has incredible views of the Tetons. The downhill from here is super fun!
